Help Understanding Loans Being Offered to Nevada Residents by Law Firm
Along with credit basics, attorneys will explain the purpose of a credit report and what people can do if they are in financial trouble.
Understanding exactly how credit affects them may help some consumers avoid the need to file bankruptcy in the future.
Along those lines, the Las Vegas Sun recently reported that residents in Nevada's Clark County are going to have an opportunity to learn about how debt can have an effect on their finances. Law firm Black and LoBellow's Credit and its Problems workshop will be held on August 10.
"The attorneys will explain the different types of credit, why credit is important, how to understand your credit report and an overview of options available for people with credit problems," the paper reported.
Along with high numbers of people filing bankruptcy, Nevada has led the nation with its
foreclosure rate. According to the most recent report from RealtyTrac, almost 6 percent of housing units in the state have faced some form of this loan trouble during the first six months of 2010.
